Vero Beach - Anyone know the room number with the best ocean view in a one bedroom. I know some are blocked by the cottages and foliage.

There's a Vero Beach thread under the DVC forums that's really informtaive about views and locations. Def check that out.

In a villa you'll def need an upper floor (3rd) to get a true ocean view. The second floors seem to be too low to get a good view.

Thank you. I will look for the thread.

You need one of the inn rooms or the cottages to have any sort of ocean view. The buildings are set up intentionally so there isn't a ton of sea viewing, though you can certainly hear it. The reason the rooms are set up is for the sea turtle conservation and general resort design to minimize the impact of potential hurricanes etc washing out all of the buildings.
