My DD and I were just there and though we are DVC members, I was told that you don't have to be to book a stay there.

You might try and the rent/trade boards as one of the options for staying there. You could put in a request and a member could book a stay for you.

Like all resorts, a percentage of the rooms is available for cash rentals. You do not need to be a member of anything. Info on current rates is on the Vero information thread.
