Can we as DVC members go to see the VB facilities? We want to take a few days next time we go to the Florida but I wanted to see what it is like first and perhaps take a tour.
No problem. Simply show the guard your blue card (he may want ID too) and tell them you're there to look around. There aren't 'tours' per se - but if you go to the front desk and ask they maybe able to show you an empty villa or room. Also if you're visiting a WDW DVC resort on a points stay you can pool hop to VB for the day so long as VB isn't at capacity (call front desk to find out)
That is super news for us about the pool! We will be staying at BCV on points but the boys want to see the space coast. Being able to let everyone take a quick swim would be a good way to break up the day.
The lessons are at the inlet. We did them and had a blast. VB has alot of activties for the families to do while they are vacationing there. We go there every year and have a blast. My children are 19 and 21, they can't wait to go there for vacation.
