Vero Beach????

I enjoyed your funland story. As you can tell by my address, I have spent a few too many nights in Rehobeth Beach (actually dewey beach). My DH and I used to be part owners of a condo right down the street from the Starboard. (I spent a few too many nights there as well) I can't even go to Rehobeth anymore and I live so close.

We just closed on a DVC resale. From what I can tell the points just went into our account today. I will be calling tomorrow to see if we can get any type of a stay at Vero this June. I'm hoping to split that with a quick Disney visit and a side trip to see friends in Daytona. Wish me luck!

p.s. my coworker and 2 other families are renting a house in rehobeth (5 blocks from the beach) this july for $5600. No thanks!

I too have grown up going to Ocean City and Rehobeth. I have pleasant memories but the last 15 yrs. have been horrible trying to get accross the bay bridge, and the beaches have just been wall to wall people. Even in Sept. now, many crowds. The price for a Vero Beach 50 pts. contract is less than a 2 week stay in OC!! Just couldn't pass it up. My first stay is August....give us your trip report. I am just so excited, I hope it is truely as DisDaydreamer says (Rob!!).

I booked an inn room at Vero for 3 nights in June and waited listed for a one BR. Then we are going to head over to Old Key West for 4 nights. We have friends in daytona, so we may swing over there for a night or two before we going home. I am really looking forward to Vero. I couldn't decide on 3 or 4 nights there, so if I love it, I will be staying longer in the future. Someone just posted pictures on another thread that are gorgeous.

Yeah it looks like it will be a long while before I head back to Rehobeth
