Vero Beach - Towels and Internet

We are heading to Vero Beach this weekend and I have two questions.

1) Does the resort provide towels down by the pool for pool/beach use? Or do we need to bring our own beach towels?

2) Is there internet access in the rooms? If so, what kind (wireless, modem, dial-up)?

They do have towels down at the pool and at the beach access point, but they are like 30" x 60" towels. So if you are using them to lay (or is that lie?... starbox?) on the beach then you might want to bring a bigger thicker towel for that purpose.

I am pretty sure DV is incorrect and the only Internet access is wireless WAN in the lobby and at the pool. Some people can get it on the second floor to the north of the green cabin room and sometimes people just sit at the end of the hallways overlooking the lobby and can get it. The only other option is Broadband wireless, which I had this last time there in June. It was Verizon it worked better than I expected.

At some point in the future(?), VB is supposed to have wireless internet in the rooms. Right now there is wireless in the main lobby area, and around the Green Cabin Room. You can access the internet via the phone line in your room. No charge for local calls for access numbers.

Hey Rob.... Can you confirm if that during your last June stay if the Wireless was up and working in the pool area? Last Aug 07 a CM told me that they were install an access point in the pool area?

I cannot. I was using wireless broadband, which did not access the resort network. I did see at least one A/P antenna installed with wires running to it over near the gazebo. I think I saw someone using a laptop in the gazebo, but I can't be sure of that at this point.
