Can anyone describe the difference between the Inn and the Studio rooms? We are a couple considering a short getaway at Vero Beach. Thanks.

The inn rooms, ocean or garden views have 2 queen beds and a kitchenette. The studios have a queen size bed and a sofa bed that is a double size. There are some rooms in the inn that have a king bed. Maybe you have to request one, we have never had one, but they have been mentioned here. Also, there are internally connecting inn rooms. We have had a pair of them when we stayed with relatives. I had not requested that, but it was convenient.

When we go as a couple, we usually get an ocean view inn room. We like the convenience of being in the main building. The studios are all in the outer buildings with 1-2 bedrooms.

Is it true that the Ocean View Inn rooms have better views than the studios?

Because of studio locations in the out buildings, and the vegetation growing up the out buildings, I think yes. We had a first floor studio,no ocean view at all. Lots of bunny sightings.

Ocean view inn rooms have a guaranteed beautiful ocean view where for studios there is no specific booking category for an ocean view so you could get any view. I had an inn room (unfortunately we booked late and could not get the ocean view) and loved the set up of the room and the inn location. It is nice to be able to go downstairs to get coffee or to buy something even if it is raining.

Thanks. One of these trips, we get to VB.

We had what I think was an ocean view room located in the inn about 10 years ago. It was definitely located in the inn it was a "studio".

The balcony had a solid wall so when sitting all I could see was wall. I recall the standing up view to be amazing.

There are very few differences between the studios and Inn rooms. There are no true studios (technically) in the Inn itself but the Inn rooms have the same kitchenette as the studios. The 3 buildings other than the Inn have 2 BR L/O and 2 BR dedicated. Those 3 buildings are horseshoe shaped with the open end to the road. I believe each floor has 4 L/O and 2 dedicated with the dedicated being on the ends nearest the road. For the Inn rooms one may or may not get a view with OV, you really need to be 3rd or 4th floor to reasonable expect much of a view. As noted, the Inn rooms have 2 queens and are more shotgun shaped where the studios are a queen and pullout and are more triangular similar to OKW. It's also possible to get a decent view from the studios but the odds are less in one's favor.
