Vero Beach Resort Questions

Calling all Vero Beach Resort experts, I have a few questions:
1. Does anyone have pictures of the Inn Rooms?
2. How big is the refrigerator in the inn rooms? What can it hold?
3. Do they have re-fillable mugs and if so where do you re-fill them?
4. Has anyone been there in January? How are the bugs at that time?
Any other advice or tips you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
We are sending my Mom & Dad there on a surprise in January. Having never been there myself I don't know what to expect for them.

The fridge is about the same as at other studios. I don't remember there being refillable mugs. and have not been in January - but I can't imagine bugs being a problem then.

Fridges are like those in all other studios - like a mid-size dorm fridge. Can hold two liter bottles, etc. Tiny freezer. Weather in Jan. is beautiful - or at least the two times I have been. Weather in the low 80's during the day. Refillable mugs are at the pool. No bugs. Hope your parents' room is an ocean view room. Just fabulous!

Yes, they have mugs which can be refilled @ the pool.
4. Has anyone been there in January? How are the bugs at that time?
I went in July and the no-see-ums were terrible. I don't know about January or the bugs during this time.
Any other advice or tips you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
I have only been once and really loved it. There are so many activities for the kids! The resort was better than I had ever imagined it would be.

We were there in April and they had mugs. We bought them at the pool bar and refilled them there and at Shutters when we had dinner or breakfast. The frige is a little one. We had no problem with pop, beer, OJ lunch meat, etc. It was fine.

I'm not an expert, as we only spent 5 days there several years ago. We did enjoy ourselves very much. We were there during August, so not sure what the bug situation would be in January. Here are some pics and links :

You can see the frig is dorm-sized. Our room was L-shaped. When you walked in through the door you immediately saw the kitchenette, then we had to turn left to get to the bedroom portion of the room :

They do have refillable mugs there.....I'd guess they're about $11.99 now ? We stayed there several years ago. Hope this helps

WE have gone 4 times over Presidents break . No bugs water can be cool.
Temps in Janaury should average about 75 .
