Vero Beach Resort and Magic Bands?

I thought i had read that Vero would be getting Magic Bands sometime in 2014. I know they tend to lag behind the rest of WDW when it comes to technology upgrades. Just wondering if anyone has any insight into when this will occur? I have a trip in July to WDW foloowed by a short visit afterwards to Vero and am wondering if the rooms at Vero will be using magic bands by that time? I have checked our MDE account and although Vero is linked to our account it doen not pull up when I check the magic band section.

Would also like to know. We are spending a week at Vero but plan to go up to WDW for a day. Will we be able to do FP+ ?

I don't know if you will be getting a set of MBs for a Vero stay by then (we didn't in June), but any MB linked to your account will work at VB.

You can do FP+ with out magic bands. To do FP+ you must have a park ticket or AP attached to you MDE account.

We were at VB a month ago, and no magic bands at that point. I have 5 of my own magic bands linked to me, but didn't bring any of them to try at vero. Boy did I regret that. We love the MB convenience, and you really need it at vero. Since you need a room key to access beach and pool it would really make life easier. Such a pain to walk down to beach with two drinks in my hand and have to dig out the room key to open the gate. It would have been so nice to just tap my wrist and not have to put down the drink. Also for when I made the trek up the ramp to go to the rest room, only to realize at the gate that I forgot the key at my beach chair, and had to walk back down to get it so that I could open the gate to get off the beach. Again magic band would just have been on my wrist, and it wouldn't have been an issue.
