Vero Beach recs

I’m gifting my aunt and uncle a 3 night stay in Vero mid-October - they’ve never been, are in their late 70’s and very active. Any recs - dining or activities? They will have a car!

Depends on their interest. They may like Cape Canaveral or see a launch.

There are a lot of nice restaurants in vero. I like Cobalt, it’s in a hotel and has outdoor seating by the ocean. That area right there along the beach has a ton of restaurants. Mulligans is good for casual dining. The Wave is also in a hotel and a little more fine dining. Different Wave restaurant than in the Disney vero hotel

DVC is actually in Wabasso (north of Vero)

The DVC timeshare has a nice beach so they don't really need to travel for beach (unless they want a pier, etc).

Just north on A1A is Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge & Sebastian Inlet State Park
