Vero Beach Questions

We are considering something different for next winters vacation. Is Vero Beach ok in January? Some room recommendations? What kind of activities available nearby?

Sometimes it is warm enough to swim, sometimes not. It has always been nice enough for bike rides along the Historic Jungle Trail.

I like going to Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge. There's a centennial boardwalk there with the names of all Wildlife Refuges of which Pelican Island was the first.

I've taken boat rides sponsored by Environmental Learning Center nearby the resort. We've gone to Ft Pierce to see a Manatee area with a very interesting nature center. There's a wonderful botanical garden right in Vero Beach.

My husband, family or friends, whom ever I am with in a particular year have always found plenty to do, and we always wish we could stay longer!
