We are doing a cheapie-cheap vacation in Jacksonville, staying with cousins, but want to do something FUN and Disney-ish. Since we have 22 pts remaining I thought maybe we'd take a drive down to VB for 2 nights mid-week.

What is VB like in early May? Is it buggy? Will it be busy? What do I NEED to know?

I feel kinda lost cause other than Disney's website(which isn't very detailed), there really doesn't seem to be alot of info out there on VB. I guess I'm spoiled with Deb's site having soooo much WDW info, I think there should be something like that for all the Disney properties.

Thanks!

We were there last year later in May. It was warm, and quite relaxing. VB is the place to relax and unwind. Since you have 22 points, try for an Ocean View Inn Room. These are basically studios which have a balcony overlooking the ocean. The Studio rooms don't usually have any view of the ocean.

There is a great thread which will take you a couple hours to go through...it will answer just about every question you have on VB.

Good Luck and have fun!

Love bugs might be out then. They are annoying, but they don't bite, just smash on your car.

May is very nice. Not too hot yet. Check out tripadvisor for more details and pictures.
