Vero Beach question...

Just booked a flight on the brand new Song air today for our Feb 04 cruise (arriving day before cruise). New experience though - we're flying into West Palm. I was thinking of driving halfway (which seems to be Vero Beach) and staying that Friday night to check it out. The Friday night points seem high, so I was wondering what experiences you may have had trying to book a cash room. Can I do this through MS? What discounts may be available? Thanks in advance.

Sue, it's worth checking both MS and also CRO as you'll often get different prices from both organisations and it's not always the same one that has the best deal. Not sure if Dreamsunlimited travel ( the online travel agent thats associated with this site offers Vero among it's options, but it's worth a call to them and maybe even direct to the hotel as well. With MS,it's worth saying ( if they don't offer a discount) that you're thinking of adding on at Vero. they may come up with a "special"

We can usually find discounted cash rooms at VB. Next year, the Birnbaum guide to WDW should have the 2003 coupons available in the back of the book. You may also be able to get a discount through MS.

Also, check out mousesavers.com. Once in a while she will have a discount on there for VB or HH.

Most of the discounts I have mentioned have been around 25-30% savings.

I don't think you will have a problem unless the resort is booked that weekend or something.
