Vero Beach question

If we want to just visit Vero Beach, what is the closest airport?

I am correct that from the Orlando airport it is a two hour drive to Vero Beach? Is there a closer airport and does anyone know how far it is to the Vero Beach resort?

Melbourne is the closest, probably a one hour or so drive to VB.

I would think that Melbourne (MLB) would shy of an hour. Mapquest has it at 49mins and 31 miles going down route 1. The only major carrier that flies there is Delta. If it works for you it would be a great option. Easy in and out.

Orlando(MCO) and West Palm Beach (PBI) are similar distances with more flight options. Had to mapquest MCO too. Time MCO->VB 1hr 36min with 94 miles.

We fly into MCO because it is a non-stop and low cost option for us versus MLB.
