Hi All,

Been a LONG time since I posted. Question for today, actually a couple of them. Thinking next Spring Break, starting at Vero then making our way up to Orlando. Would we fly into Ft Myers to get closer to Vero or does it make more sense to do a round trip out of MCO.

Also, we have a large group traveling with us, we have enough points for us but will need to try to rent points for everyone else. How tough would this be? We are looking at 5 or 6 families.

Thoughts?

VB is on the East Coast of FL, Ft. Myers is on the West Coast of FL. We usually fly into MCO or West Palm.

VB is Premier Season for all of March and the 1st 2 weeks of April.

TONS of VB info can be found here:

As far as flight go, like Starr suggested, proably the most options and cheapest pricing will be found flying in and out of MCO. A rental car is pretty much required for a VB stay anyways.

renting points for use at vb in general should not be a problem. Hopefully you can find an owner so you could book at their 11 month window if you desire to visit during peak.

Just from an airfare standpoint, we always fly into MCO when going to Vero Beach. For us, it is much cheaper.

I agree MCO is the cheapest airfare and most amount of direct flights. Melbourne airport is another option.
As far as renting points, I think as long as you do it at least 6 months in advance (due to high demand for that time period and the amount of points you'll need for 5-6 families) you should be ok.
