Vero Beach Love Bugs

Just about to book our annual vacation to Disneyworld and Vero Beach but looking at a different time of year. We were looking at the two weeks commencing the 24th August till the 7th September. We usually spend one week in each resort but I remember a few years back we experienced the love bugs real bad and I can't remember the time of year! Can someone help? Trying to figure out whether to do Disney or Vero first to beat the bugs!!

We were at Vero very beginning of June'16 and '17 after a few days in Ft.Lauderdale. Fabulous weather in both locations, in fact no bugs at beach on Vero which some mention. We were not on beach at dusk, only day. I thought I remember love bugs being discussed at Disney early May. Use the search bar and search love bugs, maybe you will find something. Also, we were at Vero back in '10 in mI'd August and no bugs. Enoy!

I remember them being around the end of September, however we've never experienced them in our August trips. We usually visit at the time you mentioned (last August).
