Does Disney offer surf lessons at Vero Beach?

Or is there someone local that you would recomend?

I didn't see anything but body boards at Vero but I am sure there is something around that you could rent. Down the road is Sebastian Inlet. That is a good surf beach. Depending on when you go, the surf is pretty good for learning both at Vero and at Sabastian Inlet. Surf is best when it is about 2 hours away from being low tide and is still on the way out.

I recommend lessons if you can find some. It is allot of fun but hard that iot looks. Watch the currents, I had to help someone out at Vero last year.

You can also sign-up for surf lessions at Typhoon Lagoon...but I think it is pricy.

The Disney Vero Beach Resorts Benefits mentions:

Surfing Lessons — Learn surfing basics at Lou Maresca's Surf School during this 3.5-hour program at Fort Pierce Inlet State Park. Surfboards, wetsuits (if needed), drinks and snacks, and towels are provided. Advance registration is required. For ages 12 and up.

Here's a link to Good article on surfing schools that mentions Maresca's Surf School

For viewing good surfing when the surf is cooperating, the best place will be Sebastian Inlet - about 10 min north of the resort. Site of some world class competitions. Here's a link to another surf school That advertises lessons there.
