Vero Beach INN Floor layouts

Can anyone suggest a good room location for an ocean view room in the Inn?

Does anyone know the room numbers for the few King OVIR at Vero? DH and I are heading to AKV later today for two days and then to VB for the rest of the week to celebrate our 29th anniversary and when we check in I'd like to ask if one of the King's is available. Thanks everyone..........

You might want to call VB and request the room. I think they assign rooms. There are only 2 King OVIR, so not great chance of getting one. They are rooms 4?15 and 4?19. The rooms are numbered starting after the elevators (01) going counter-clockwise around the resort.

Please do as Lisa says and try requesting by phone maybe within 24 hours advance. I tried recently for June and they would not take the request because of "demand". And Please, if you would, let me know if you got it and/or whether they would even take the request at that point.

I would be forever greatful. :worship: Thanks.

P.S. I am sending you a PM so you have an easy record of my username.

I was really polite... wasn't I...? :)

The main thing you want to be sure of is that you ask for an ocean FACING room. There are end units the have an ocean view off to the side and so they fit the category of ocean view. Otherwise, the location and floor doesn't make much difference as far as the ocean view is concerned.

However, some people like the 2nd floor because you can take the lobby stairways down to the main level and forego waiting for THE elevator. Some people like being like the 4th floor to have the furthest views of up and down the beach. Some parents and GPs actually prefer a second floor end unit overlooking the pool so they can check out their kids in the pool. All a matter of preference really.

We did have luck getting an OVIR King for our honeymoon. We stayed in 4219 and made the reservation with a King request at the 6 1/2 month mark. I have attached photos for those wishing to see it. It was fabulous!!!

 Thank you, Mary.

Yes, yes, yes.... That's the room we want (or the opposite one). Great pictures.

Does anyone know if any of the Garden View Inn Rooms have a king bed? (I know, I know, but a GVIR was all that was available since DH made me make a last minute ressie. GVIR better than nothin'!)

My guess is yes. I think there is one in the one remaining 4th floor lobby corner. The other corner on that side is the laundry room. I think this room may also be handicapped. Not really sure, but that is my guess.
