Hi,

We are heading down to Vero beach at the end of July. We have some friends that live nearby and they want to meet us at the resort for a day. Does anyone know if they would be able to swim in the resort pool and beach with us since they won't be guests? Do you have to have a resort card or something when you go to the pool or beach?

Thanks for your help,
Michelle

There shouldn't be any problem with this. Tell you guests to tell the guard your names and they should be let in. As to going around the resort - no problem. You or a member in your party with a KTTW will have to accompany them to the pool or beach areas for access.
(getting into the pool and beach areas require an active KTTW to unlock gates)

As DVCc said, let the guards know and they will let them park. It does take a room key to get to and from the beach or pool. This part is a bit sketchy. July is not a peak month, but during peak periods I have seen CMs card each person entering the pool. Probably the easiest way to handle this is to add their names as guests in your room and get room keys (w/o charging priviliges) for them. They will need to check-in to get their keys. You are limited to the number of people allowed to stay in the room. In this case they would give the guards their names as guests checking in.
