Vero Beach for 4th of July

We were thinking of going to Vero for a few days over 4th of July in 08. Has anyone been there then? Is it super crowded? Are there any holiday festivities at the resort or elsewhere @ Vero? Fireworks, etc?

argh!... a VB question I can't answer, but understand that VB is a small resort and crowded is not something you ever label VB (except maybe sometimes the pool). We don't own at VB so we avoid booking holidays.

I am sure they do something for the holiday, but I don't know what. Hopefully, one of the other VB lovers will see this....

I don't know about any special 7/4 activities, but I do know that there were no 2 b/r's available at 7 months out for the week in which 7/4 fell this year. So it's probably a busy week.
