Small contract in a separate UY at the same resort?

Unless there is an overwhelming reason to do this I would rescind and wait until you are in the same UY.

The thing is, at some point in the future, you might actually want to combine those BLT points for any number of uses that you can’t anticipate now. Don’t lock yourself into a single strategy. AstroBlasters is 100% right. There are a zillion resale contracts out there. You’ll have way more flexibility if all your BLT points are in the same use year.

With the current CCV incentives I entertained the idea of adding 100-150 direct points as I need more to be able to book 1BRs regularly (I purchased when I was staying at studios). I even emailed my guide and thankfully he didn’t get back to me and this beautiful loaded contract popped up. Couldn’t resist and offered below asking and was accepted immediately.

I’m planning to sell one of my other contracts to cover the costs of this one as it’s mostly to be able to have enough points at the WL and not to actually have more points in total.

The $500 fee didn’t even make me think about it, but it still annoying to see in the total

It will be interesting to see how long it takes for them to spit out the remaining 2025 submissions. You know they just had to be buried in an avalanche of sales contracts, with everyone trying to get in under the wire on the new fee.

Especially when the only cleared one I’ve seen so far was submitted 12/26. Seems to be a big back log post that. Ourselves included got in on 12/31 with a poly offer so we’re upbeat we’d get it given Disney waiving every ROFR on poly last year, but now without any waiver or exercise from Disney on ROFR we have no guide as to whether or not they will change their ROFR objectives and targets

Wow I had been periodically checking to see what would happen with this one because I thought for sure it would be taken at that price point
