Oh man...... I'm kicking myself for not remembering this one. It is one of the better restaurants I've been to. I'll have to see if my wife remebers it or if I can google it.
It is downtown VB and I highly recommend it. I'll find it and add it here. Great place. They have the menu at the front desk.
Edit: Here it is: It is called The Tides, it is on 3103 Cardinal Drive, phone is 772 234 3966. I give it my highest recommendation.
We love Captain Hiram's. Go back to Highway A1A and Head North it will be on your right in the town of Sebastian.
They have both a sand bar and a dining room. The whole place was demolished in the Hurrican 2 years ago and we arrived 2 months after the Hurricane and they had just reopened the Sand Bar (Each night we went they had built more booths) I imagine that the dining room is completed by now (they had a good start two years ago). We love the atmosphere and plan to eat there every night on our upcoming trip.
Country Ham N Egg Restaurant on Rt. 1 in Sebastion. Low atmosphere, low prices, excellant food at a family run place that is a favorite of the locals. Breakfast, Lunch and I believe dinner some days.
How do you get to Squid Lips from the resort? I have read recommendations for it before but am not sure of exactly where it is and we would like to try it when we are at VB in June.

Back over the Wabasso Inlet bridge take a right on 1a about 2 - 3 miles down take a right on N. Indian River Road go for about 1 mile. It is on the right! Just past Capt. Hirams.
We love the HARDWOOD GRILL located about a 20 min drive from the resort. It is south on US 1 and it is very much more adult oriented. I have never seen children, not saying they are never there! Food is really very nice as is the service. Restaurant is quite small, but so what! In VB proper, i think I remember TANGOS as also very good. Just 1/2 block off of Ocean Drive.
