Vero Beach cottage wait list

I did not have enough Vero points for my whole stay at Vero for a "Beach Cottage" so I waited for the 7 month mark for the part of out stay (I do have two days in late May). The other days were still available a couple weeks ago but I just got to the 7 month mark and the 2 extra days I need are gone. What is the chance the wait list coming threw? We will keep the two days we have, as we are going to have a wedding on the beach on the 26th followed by a reception in the Beach Cottage.

There's always a chance a waitlist will come thur. But you might want a 'plan b' to fall back on too. You might want to call MS and see if those nights are available at rack cash rates and/or member discounted rates. if so you could reserve and so long as the waitlist comes thur by 6 days in advance of your 1st cash night you could cancel without penalty.

There is always a chance, however, there are only 6 of these beach cottages so it is not a very good chance for the waitlist to come through..

You can try the cash route, but it is very pricey even at a member discount rate. What about reserving a couple of two bedroom units just in case to add on to your existing ressie? Or even the Inn rooms are very nice, too. Good luck to you..

Hoping the wait list comes through for you. I have had many wait list requests come through but imagine harder for the beach cottage. Those are very nice.

I am about to call right now and try to get the 2-bedroom and an extra studio. Then we can upgrade to the beach cottage for the last two days. DH hates when we move but I will just send him to the beach from 11 to 4 he will like that. We could go grocery shopping as it gets closer to 4 pm checkin.

Is there anywhere to store grocerys we will have from the first two days while we wait for the BC? What about the baby bottles (we will have 2 babys, one about 5 months and one almost a year).

Does Vero have bell service that would switch our bags for us? It would be nice if they could store them in the BC while it is being cleaned.

DVB does offer bell services and can store your food products.
There is a Publix not far from the resort. Just cross back over the bridge and take a right, the Publix will be on the left a few miles north.

All set for 2 days in 2-bdrm and then to BC.

Everyone will have to wake up early and hit the beach until BC is ready.
Good to hear Bell services are available with fridge.
We usually go into Vero to sams club but might go to Publics instead. Does anyone have what the address to the closes Publics? Vero area has many of them and when I called the person I talked to seemed to not understand english well.
I might order the wedding cake from them.
Also is there an Atlantic Bread Co? I am looking for sandwich and fruit trays.

and that means that if you're leaving DVB you'd turn right out of the resort, go to the first light, turn left..go over the bridge...come to frist light in wabasso (baitshop on left), turn right...drive a couple of miles and Publix will be on your left in a mall just after walgreens. I've done this a almost a million times.

VERo beach resort makes a simple cake, no wedding cakes.

Publix had a great bakery with yummy cakes so they can do the wedding cake, and they have an awesome deli and can provide just about any delit related trays and items you might want. You can't go wrong with Publix, and they are very close.
