Vero Beach/ Catch and Release for kids

Has anyone tried the catch and release fishing for kids at Vero Beach? We're heading to Vero in June (2nd visit) and would like to try that this time. DS 7 has been asking to go fishing since he was little (my husband and I are no help- not too "outdoorsy"!).

I was hoping to hear opinions from others who have tried it. Do they do a good job teaching little beginners?

I don't see very many people fishing on the beach, but there are typically many people that fish at Sebastian Inlet were the Indian River meets the ocean. It is about 5 minutes north of the resort.

DS 10 DD 14 did it last year and they loved it. They do it across the road in a pond. I think the cost was 25 per person and you get to kids the fishing rod, which we have used a few times since then, We are not big fisherman but it was a lot of fun. Sign up early so you do not get closed out.
