Who can tell me some infor about the campfires they have at Vero beach? What days and times do they usually hold them? Is there a cost? What is it like, whats your review of the event? From what i understand you make smores, is there anything else to it? Any tips on attending? Thanks for any and all information.

My SO and I went to the campfire our first night there in November with the intent to chill out and grab a s'more. I believe the fire started at 8 but we got there a little earlier. It was free to resort guests. The campfire was more of a sing/dance along geared for children (and children at heart) but was absolutely not our cup of tea. We are both the type to actively avoid audience participation (it can be done on Disney property, I swear :) ) b/c we do not like it and we don't have kids that would enjoy it. The sing along went on for 20-25 minutes before the s'mores materials were brought out. It was a nice fire pit but not something we would do again since we really were aiming to be able to sit, enjoy a fire, and have a treat. If you love a good sing along, it's perfect :) -Kate

We've tried to time showing up late in order to skip the singing and the initial mad rush for the smores. Hit it once perfectly and showed up too late another time.

I enjoy the silly songs. I was a camp counselor 50 years ago. Some songs have not changed much, and I have learned new ones! Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the fun!
