Vero Beach Beach Question

Do you still need climbing gear to get to the ocean at Vero Beach? We stayed 3 night in October 2011 and you needed to repel down a sand cliff to get to the ocean.

We have freinds that might want to stay there for 5 nights in October but I do not want to tell them the beach is great unless they have fixed it since we were last there.

No. Getting down the beach was easy.

The tall dunes are still back there. But they sit further back than the entry points to the beach.

There's a wooden ramp that you walk down onto the beach.

LOL I know exactly what you are talking about - MUCH easier now. We were just there a few weeks ago.
