Vero Beach availability question

OK, so I decided to book 2 nights at VB for mid-week, mid November, only there is NOTHING available!!! How is this possible? She was able to get me 1 studio room (it's me, mom and my 2 kids) for 1 night and then (here's my ??) the studio room was only available for CASH the next night. Isn't that kind of bizzare?

I am waitlisted for every kind of room for the 2 nights - I have 65 points that have to be used by july 31 and have no plans to go to WDW (already booked other vacations during our school holidays).

Well, there are two holidays in November - November 12 is Veterans and November 22 is Thanksgiving Day. That coupled with the fact that you are booking for next month would make it not surprising that availability is slim.
