Vero beach access

I will be about 5 months pregnant when we go to vb in may. Does anyone know how the beach access are is? Do they still have a mountain to climb to get to the beach? Is there a ramp or steps anywhere to the beach? Can you walk around it? Thanks!

When I was there in early January the ledge had been sloped right in front of the resort so you could walk down to the water without problem.

There is a wood walkway to get over the dunes then on the beach.

There was a lot of erosion when we went in 2008, it was much better in 2009, we skipped last year due to huge Hawaii trip in summer. We are looking forward to it.

Just got back on Wednesday. Beach was beautiful and we saw no slope. There is a boardwalk type ramp going down to the beach from the hotel and then it was very flat. We LOVED it! Have fun!
