I think it is easier than getting HHI at 7 months. Do it as soon as you can.

We got early August on a total whim for 3 nights, just about 2 weeks ago. Somebody must have cancelled (1 1BR). Tough to get, check early.

Not good. The fact that you want a 2BR helps slightly, but both VB and HHI are extremely tough to get during the summer--especially July--unless you own there. You can always do a wait list but have an alternate plan.

My family is wondering the same thing. We are open to end of June through mid August at either HH or VB. If not available on points, what about cash rooms?
