Vero Beach @7 month mark

I am planning my May 2007 trip to DW, we are going Memorial Day week. Anyway the question is, is it hard to get Vero Beach at the 7 month mark for Memorial Weekend? I just want it for the Friday & Saturday night. Would it be easier to get the first weekend in June? I was thinking about either finished our DW trip at Vero or beginning it there. Any advice would be appreciated.

I just booked a girls weekend for my wife and her pals in an Ocean view room the weekend before Memorial Day. I don't think you should issues in availability but Ocean View Inn room may be tough.

I just tried to book any view inn room or a studio for three nights in june and all booked up, waitlist I hope comes through

I tried last year 5 months out for that weekend for ANY 1 or 2 bdrm and could find no availability. Waitlisted and never had anything come up.
