Vero Beach 2015 Information & Adoration Thread

I'm looking to go to vero and have two questions. First, do all studios have balconies? And second, can anyone recommend a snorkeling tour company in the area? My seven year has been begging-thanks!!!

DD and I will be at VB in an IOV room Dec. 7-11 We haven't been to VB since 2007
Is there a laundry room in the Inn? We had stayed in a 1 bedroom last time so we had a washer and dryer in our room.
We will be at POFQ for 2 nights before and SSR for 2 nights after and are thinking of getting the refillable mugs, will they work at VB too?

Yes, there is a laundry room on the 4th floor to the left of the elevators. New machines and they are free to use. Yes, the refillable machine is at poolside.

Yes, all studios have balconies but only a few have limited and not guaranteed water view.

I'm sure this has been asked before so don't flame me. Will a rapid fill mug purchased at a WDW resort work at Vero Beach as long as it is within the 14 day window?

Yes, a rapid fill mug can be used at any Disney resort as long as it is used within the 14 day window. The mugs can also be purchased for fewer days. In addition, a cast member can upgrade a 14 day cup to "length of stay" if your reservation is more than 14 days.

Would love to know this too! Or just a good place to go snorkel.

We're going! We'll be there from Nov 22-25 in a 2-bed villa. Never been there before so I'm excited for a nice relaxing beach resort vacation. We are not DVC, we just booked direct on the website.

Have never been to Vero Beach resort. A few questions. We are looking at staying here for 5 nights before a cruise in Feb 2017.
1. Just my DH and myself, I'm hoping for a 1 bedroom but hope I will at least get a studio at the 7 month mark?
2. Is there any transportation to port in Miami? How far is it?

We'll be at Vero for NYE this year and SOOOOO excited! Does anyone know if they do anything special NYE? No kids this trip so want to do something fun!!

We just returned from our VB/OKW vacation. We had an ocean view Inn room 11/13-11/17. The beach was nice although very windy at times. We would like to try a 1 or 2 bedroom villa next time. This would give us the option to make our own meals. We ate at the Green Cabin Room, Beaches and Shutters. The food at all three restaurants was a bit disappointing considering the prices. Our bad for not researching dinning options off property.

I have snorkeled at Bathtub Beach which is quite a way south, near Hutchison Island.

Hi All, I have never been to Vero Beach but will be traveling that way in a few weeks. I'm wondering if I would be welcome to stop in and tour this resort? Is it like Disney Orlando where you can explore and maybe get a bite to eat? Or is it gated like an exclusive resort. Any insight would be appreciated or anything else I must see in the area (I am a huge animal lover and I hear there are manatees nearby)! Thank you!

When we were there in October I asked how the renovations were going and they said only exterior work was being done at that time and interior work would start in January. I will ask again when we are there Friday

I believe you can stop at the guard shack and they will direct you to the front desk and they will give you a pass. I know we have talked to people in the Green Cabin Room and in Sonya's that were just there for drinks and dinner
