Your best bet at getting an ocean view in a 2 bedroom is to ask for a lock-off 2 bedroom as oppposed to a dedicated 2 bedroom. The dedicated 2 bedrooms are in the front of the resort and overlook the road. The lock-offs are in the back and overlook the ocean. You should also request an upper floor.
That being said, there is still no guarantee you will get an ocean view, as it is only a request. So far, I have had many different views at VB from full ocean to full foliage, and so far I haven't had a bad view yet.
