We've never stayed at Vero Beach before and can't really find enough info to make an educated guess.

We're going May 15-19 2011 and was wondering about the 1 BR or deluxe Inn Ocean View rooms. Are they in the same buildings? I know there's a jaccuzzi in the 1 BR, is there one in the deluxe rms?

If anyone has pics of either that would be greatly appreciated!

The Deluxe Inn Rooms are similar to OKW studios. They have two queen beds, and are located in the main "hotel" building. No full kitchen or washer dryer. The studios and one bedrooms are in the outlying beach cottage type buildings. The entire resort (hotel portion and beach cottages) is part of DVC, unlike the WDW mixed use WDW DVC additions to Disney hotels.

We spent a week in Vero this summer. We LOVED it there! The Inn rooms are just typical hotel rooms - with a mini fridge. The one bedroom definetely has it's advantages if you plan on cooking meals in your room. Usually they just have a king bed in the bedroom and a pull-out couch in the main living area. We have two girls and chose the Inn room since they would have their own bed and we ate out every day. Our Inn Room had an amazing Ocean view. Nothing like waking up to the ocean waves and sitting out on your balcony having coffee with the vast ocean as your scenery.

There's no jacuzzi tub in the Inn rooms but you will have an ocean view if you book that category. Most are directly facing the ocean but a few overlook the pool with the ocean to the side. They have the same kitchenette as studios - microwave, mini fridge and toaster.

From what I've read, although we've only stayed in an Inn room, there are not many 1BR's that would have a view of the ocean so if that is very important then you may want the Inn room.

We were very happy in the 1BR. As others posted, we did not have a view of the ocean. BUT, we loved having the full kitchen. We were able to have breakfast and lunch in the room. For us, the convenience of not having to leave for meals during days of ocean/pool fun was wonderful. We did go out to dinner every night. Also the laundry turned out to be very convenient as we were able to pack less and do laundry mid week.

We will be in an OVIR at the end of May. We really wanted an ocean view and just have 2 adults and 1 child so I think it will be great!

I have stayed in both and much prefer the one bedroom. (Going over Thanksgiving!!) Our inn room had windows facing the ocean, but our balcony faced the side. And this was an ocean view inn room. We love the extra space, king bed, jacuzzi tub, full kitchen, etc in a 1 bedroom.
