My DS has a Samsung SCH-A950 cell phone. He is leaving tomorrow for Greece and then college in Scotland. He will NOT be home in the USA until Jan 2007.
My question is what do I do with his cell phone while he is away for the next six months? (He is NOT taking it with him). Do I just shut it off and do nothing and store it away in his room.....OR do I leave it plugged in and on...OR...plugged in and off....????
Ahhhh...I am confused as to how to store this properly until he returns.
TIA!!!!
6/26/06..I am updating this Thread I started yesterday...
I called VERIZON re: my son's cell phone as he will be away for six months.
VERIZON will and can Temporary SUSPEND an Account for TWO 90 day terms. Sooo, they have suspended my son's cell. There is a one time $15.00 processing fee and I will pay $5.00 a month for the phone while it is in SUSPEND. On Dec 23rd, one week before he returns, Verizon will re-activate the phone.
I thought that was so awesome. I generally pay $45.00 a month for his phone so this is a sweet little savings. So for now the phone and all the accessories will be stored in his room.
