Verify your wait list

In haste I made a mistake in booking. A week later I caught it and called to try to correct it. Unfortunately the dates I wanted were not available and I did waitlist for a one bedroom. The next day after further thought I expanded the waitlist to include a studio. The dates were for five days beginning March 23. It was discovered that MS made a mistake and waitlisted me for five days starting June 23. (he verbally said March too.)

I would be willing to pay a penny or two per point for a written confirmation system like the one used for booking hotel rooms.

It was a stroke of luck that I realized my mistake and also expanded my waitlist.

I second this. I made a reservation for HH in August but the last day wasn't available. I was put on the waitlist, so I thought. The CM said will put you on the automatic waitlist and will see what happens. Well 2 weeks later, I was on the phone with MS about another ressie. So, I asked if anything had come through for my date from the waitlist. The CM said I don't see you on the waitlist! She checked the availability for me anyway and there was 3 available studios for that last day. It worked out, but if I hadn't checked I wouldn't have even known.

Another error. I got a call today while I was out shopping. Got the call on my cell phone. The wait list came thru for March 23 to replace March 16. Now we are talking a five day stay, both dates. Well, she tells me that the point usage would be 164 instead of 110. Not having a chart in front of me I thought it was because of a season change. I just checked the chart now and found out that I am now booked in for 6 days instead of 5. Now I have to call monday and get this straightened out.
