Verandah views on Disney Wish - Deck 6 vs 8?

We are looking to book a 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on Disney Treasure for Summer 2025. We have sailed on the Dream and Fantasy in the past and have always stayed in a Deluxe Family Oceanview room with verandah on Deck 6 situated in between lifeboats so there was a clear view straight down to the water (my daughter says she likes to watch the waves straight down). Looking at the Wish (and soon to be Treasure), it appears to me that all Deck 6 rooms look directly down onto the promenade on Deck 4, so even a room in between lifeboats will not have a clear view down to the water. Does anyone know if that is truly the case? I'm having trouble finding any videos or photos looking down from verandahs. We were looking at rooms 6608 (in between lifeboats) or 6626 (on a bump out but directly over a lifeboat) vs 8572 (over a lifeboat, but not sure it matters on the higher decks?). Any insight would be appreciated!

Try this
and forward to about 8:40. He shows the bumpout from the side. I think Deck 6 will not be able to look straight down.

This tour of the promenade shows Deck 6 looking directly onto Deck 5.

Looking at Wish, there’s no cabin that looks like you could look over the rail and see straight down to the ocean. Seems like the bottom part of the ship is a tad wider.

on the Magic, it appears to be a straight horizontal vertical side. Upper deck cabin choice would determine if the view down has a lifeboat or not.

I understand the desire to see the waves as the ship slices through the water. Sometimes I have to appreciate just looking at the bigger picture. 🤭

Could look from the Promenade Deck, from under the lifeboats, right? I once had an oceanview cabin on Deck 1 (Magic). I was right at water level. A little disappointed at first to be on Deck 1 but once we got going? It was really cool!

Thanks for the great exterior photos. I think you're right - there is not going to be a straight down view from any cabin. I appreciate your insight and help!

That is a really cool photo! Yes - my daughter will have to get her fix to see the waves from the promenade deck :) Thanks!

Room 7658 on the Wish this was our view, I don’t know that you would see down to the water but should still be able see across to the water. Also a shot of the side of the boat where you can see the white barrels. They are also life boats.

Thank you! Looks like a beautiful view!

I don't look directly down but from 8620/8622 the view of Castaway Cay, although that's not directly out across, I think I was angled when i took the photo. (I get vertigo if I look directly down...)

Beautiful view! Thanks for sharing. What did you think of your rooms on the bump out? I have 8572 booked which is on the more foreward bump out, but similar in location to your rooms on the aft bump out. Thanks again!

8620 had an odd angle to it, but not enough to dissuade from booking that one again. My mother had 8622 and that balcony seemed a little bigger than ours, but we also had the divider opened so it was like one big balcony.

For me, I like the proximity to the aft elevators. We have 8626 booked on the treasure.

WISH 8560

It's not a family room, but this is a video from the DECK 8!
(It'll be confirmed at 4 minutes and 6 seconds)

I used a translator because I am not good at English because I am Korean.

Thank you so much for sharing this! It is very helpful. It looks like it is a great view from the rooms on deck 8. Did you like the location of your room? Thanks so much again!

I was worried that it would be noisy because it was right next to the laundry room, but it was rather comfortable. I booked the same room next February. :)

Awesome! I did notice these rooms were near the laundry and am glad to hear you felt that noise was not a problem. Thank you so much again for sharing.
