I'm so glad to hear everyone is having such a wonderful time!

Andy, I hope you like what I did with the new postcard thread.

Steve, I also wanted to mention how ADORABLE and precious those pictures are! The expression on your DD's face reminds me so much of my own DD. LOL!

Sorry guys, I didn't spot a internet cafe near the port in San Juan. San Juan port was definitely not as tourist friendly as St. Thomas. Will try and put up more pictures when we get to Beach Club this weekend.

Steve

Andy Booked A Cat 9 Room and got upgraded to a Cat 5,
What would our Verandah Man be without his Verandah?

You want to know if Angels exist?

Just get to know Andy (& Hazel).

Hi Andy

Glad your cruise is off to MAGICal start. Nadege is a great Head Server! We had her on our February 28 Western. If you get a chance, please say "hi" to her from the Nishino family from Mississauga, Canada, and especially Lara, our 8 yr old who took a real liking to Nadege.

You can remind Nadege that Lara was the little girl she gave some Mexican peso coins to (after we forgot to get some in Cozumel for her school project!). Our servers were Claudio and Leesa.

Tell her we'll hopefully see her on next August's Repo cruise!

Thanks, Andy. Keep enjoying every moment of this special time with your family.

Arlene

Hi Arlene,

We got to speak with Nadege for an extra few minutes tonight and she did remember giving Lara the pesos. Nadege also wanted to send greetings back to you as well.

We had a nice time on San Juan this morning. We took the Old San Juan and New San Juan tour, then headed back to the ship for lunch. We all went back to the cabin and took a short nap. I would like to come back to San Juan and tour the island again in the future.

We saw Hercules the MUSE-ical this evening, tomorrow night is Disney Dreams.

We have Donald "Ducky" Williams on our cruise this week, he is the Senior Chief Artist for Walt Disney World. Ducky created the special lithograph that is being given out for these five special sailings.

We didn't get to speak with Donna tonight about rebooking, but we did drop off a request for quotes for a 7 day cruise next year. From what I heard (another passenger in line stated), the 10% credit does not apply to the 3 and 4 day cruises.

i think that "ducky" was on our first cruise in may 0f 99, if so he spent much time drawing for kids after dinner every night in the rests, and was happy to do it, or never seemed to be bothered b it. if you have a picture of him i'd like to see it and confirm. can't wait for our turn to see the shows and enjoy the food every evening.

It sounds like everyone is having a "Magic"al time on their cruise.

Just wanted to let you know that I am enjoying reading this thread every day and living vicariously (sp) through your posts.

Thanks,:D

Hi Phil,

Yes, this would be the same "Ducky." He said in his seminar the other day that he takes about four DCL cruises a year. He does exactly what you said, he is always drawing for the children. He sat two rows in front of us last night at the Hercules show, and must have drew 5 or 6 drawings and handed out to the children sitting near him, then later at dinner, he was at the table next to us in Animator's Palate and was doing the same thing. During his seminar on Monday he drew 20 pictures that were given away as door prizes. Later this morning, Ducky will be doing another seminar, then at three o'clock this afternoon, he will be having an autograph signing on deck four in front to the Walt Disney Theatre. We are taking our lithograph for him to sign.

We are having another beautiful morning, on our day at sea, as we head to Castaway Cay, hardly a cloud in the sky, and very calm seas.

This made me laugh...I can just hear by husband while we cruising on the Magic and I was posting on this board saying "Step away from the Computer"!
I'm so glad to hear that Andy and Hazel are having so much fun. I can't think of anyone who deserves it more.

Well, our MAGICal voyage has come to an end for this year. We are back, docked at Port Canaveral, and the staff of the Magic are getting the ship ready for another sailing later this afternoon. I wish all those sailing on the 8-28-04 Magic a glorious week.
