I recently got my first Vera Bradley pieces, a Hipster and a Turn Lock Wallet

Has anybody shopped the Outlet store in Orlando ?

How are the outlet prices compared to regular store prices ?
What range of discount is the cost ? Like a minimum of ____ % discounted, upto how much ?

Do you think the products are consistant ? Like they always have hispters, mini-hipster, etc, just in different patterns at different times ?

Do they ever have coupons or discounts you can add on top of the Outlet prices ?

I'd like to check it out next week, and then again in Sept and Oct too.

I was just there the 4th of July.

If I remember correctly the prices were the same as the sales items on the site. Plus they also had a clearance section.

It is just like walking into a reg Vera Bradley store. They had alot of everything.

They offer a military discount of 10%. They were also offering an additional 30% off when I went. I ended up getting a hipster for 20.00.

I believe that the outlets only sell discontinued styles. The one near where I live sometimes has sales. They seems to have a large selection of items.

Keep an eye on the Premium Outlets website, they list sales for each store. A few weeks ago all the Vera Outlets had an extra 30% the entire store (except luggage.). Prices were so cheap I got the basic handbag for under $15, even my 5 year old got a bag and lunch bag! My mom got 3 Villagers, reg $72 and after the extra discount we around $30.

Is this outlet at the outlet mall that is near LBV or is it the one all the way up International Drive? I can't remember the names of those two malls.

thank you so much for the responses !

Great idea to look on the outlet site, and I did see where they will have some items on sale, looks like pretty much all the time they have a "special "

As far as the location, it says it a new store, off of Vineland Ave . Don't really know where that is, but I will be finding out on Monday !

If the outlet sells only discontinued styles then why would all the stores including the Mall Vera Bradley have the same items? They try and tell you that at the retail store but it is not true. As a matter of fact when I was in the retail store the other day they had run out of a particular item and they called the outlet to get it for them. It was NOT discontiuned but the customer had to pay an 8.00 up charge to send it.

My DIL got a bag in the retail store and I went to the outlet and saw the same bag for substantially less! They also had the accessories and it was the NEW pattern. Most of what I have seen in the outlet is the same as the retail store as well as gift stores.

I was in a gift store the other day and they were featuring the canvas summer VB's .They are solid colors with only white trim. I got it for half price PLUS 25% off in the outlet the day before. IMHO anyone who wants VB and can go to the outlet should not go anywhere else. ALSO most outlet malls have an extra coupon book for added savings. The Premium OUtlet near me in Wrentham Ma has a coupon for an additional 25% off one VB already discounted item and that even includes the clearance.

The outlet stores are crazy busy on sales but I overheard the clerk tell another that they had over 16thousand in sales and that was at 3pm on a non sale day!
OH and if you are looking for boxes if you purchase in the outlet they tell you to go to the retail store with your slip and get them which I have done several times.

The Vera Bradley store is at LBV. I was there in May and scored a pair of sunglasses for $25.00 instead of the $90.00 the usually charge.:thumbsup2

I did not buy a handbag because the pattern I wanted was not on sale. I'll try again in November. Also the website is having a pretty good sale.

Our outlet sells current pieces & patterns - not discontinued styles. The only thing they don't have right now are the current 4 patterns (Watercolor, English Meadow, etc.) and the new fall ones. Our outlet has tons & tons of items & is always well-stocked. They have a small clearance section. Over the 4th of July the entire store (except lugagge) was 30% off plus an additional 25% off for VIP shoppers. It was awesome!

If you are an AAA member you can get a coupon book from the desk in the food court. Usually there is a coupon for the Vera Bradly outlet. When we visited in May, they had an extra % off all bags. They carry discontinued patterns, so what is available will vary.
