Is a VB large duffel big enough for a 4-5 day trip? We leave for Disney in a little over two weeks for a 7 day trip and I'm considering taking this as carry on for my clothes (kids will have their own bags).

We'll have a washer/dryer in the condo, so I'll be trying to cut down on what we bring. I'm just hoping it isn't going to be really cool while we're there! 'Cause that will shoot my carry on plans down the drain.

Some of the colors are on sale right now for $59 and then shipping is $10. Would it get here in time? I've ordered from VB online once before, but I don't remember how long shipping took.

I got them for my girls for our week long trip to Lake George and they managed fine. It's a really nice size. I have ordered from them a few times and everything comes pretty quick. As it should with the insane shipping they charge:rotfl:

DD and I both packed one each for out 10 day trip. We had a bit of overflow- shoes ect. But everything else fit just fine(it was summer though)

It might be too big for a carry on-you could probably fit 4-5 days worth of clothes depending on how light you pack.

I would call one of the outlets and ask them their prices-I don't think that they were that much when I was there a couple of weeks ago (Wrentham). They will ship to you for the same price as online and they might have different colors than what's online.

Also, I used code SURPRISE a few days ago for free shipping when you spend $75-not sure if it's still working or not? VB online typically takes a week to get to me in NY-Wrentham MA outlet is quicker than that.

It's pretty big. I could use it for 4 or 5 days for just myself. I'd take a purse or another small tote too, though.

I ordered from VB last Tuesday and it was delivered that Saturday. They use FedEx ground and ship from Indiana, so it might be quicker since you live closer.

I use my large duffel as a carry on for 3-5 day trips all the time. Works great. As long as you are not planning to pack several pairs of sneakers you should be good to go.

Thanks for the replies everyone. :)

I'm still considering it. I'll have to decide probably today for sure to make sure it will get here in time. :)

Check out QVC. i just ordered a large duffle from them. I think the bag was like $58 but shipping was definately less than $10! Go the new Twirly Girl Pink print & I love it!!:)

I just checked QVC and they don't have the large duffel. :(

yay it will fit everything. But that's also the problem with it you can fit everything in it and I mean everything. If its too bulky looking or if you get the wrong agent they may try to make you fit it in the carry on thingy and then if it doesn't fit they will ask you to check it. If you check it trust me it will get destroyed. I'd go for a weekender, thats what I have its still got good space but you can't really over stuff it.

I've been able to pack all of my clothes and clothes for an infant for a week. Shoes went into another bag and I have a seperate bag for bathroom stuff, but it all fit.

It is definitely big enough. I love mine. As a carry on it needs to go in the overhead bin. It is too big to fit under the seat. I tried! :) The weekender is perfect for under the seat but I would never fit enough clothes in there for that many days.
