Vera Bradley Disney

Was just looking at Shop Disney, as I tend to frequently do while in quarantine (are we still supposed to be quarantined??), and I noticed very few Vera Bradley Disney items.

There are usually more to choose from. I only saw the pattern before last, “Whimsical Paisley.” Only two items, a blanket and a hipster.

Where did they all go???? Usually there are more choices. The current pattern “Mickey’s Colorful Garden” & “Mickey’s Colorful Meadow” are currently not offered.

Did they sell out? Was it that limited?

Just wondering. Also wondering if the Twice Upon A Year Sale will still happen. The time of year when it is usually held is fast approaching.

I missed out on a really great deal on “Mickey’s Paisley Celebration” on EBay. Someone was selling a Hadley style backpack and wristlet at the original purchase price. Well worth it when you consider the perfect pattern placement that you have a slimmer chance of getting when you order sight unseen from Shop Disney.

Anyway, just some thoughts and wonderings.

I know not top priority during these crazy days, but helps to distract my worried mind.

Believe it or not, you can get Colorful Garden and Mickey's Colorful Paisley on Vera's website. I think these debuted in quarantine so they actually released them on the corporate website too. Lot's of products to chose from.

Yes, I saw the Vera Bradley website. I’m on their mailing list.

Just thought it odd that today so Little was available on Shop Disney. Chances are the newest pattern would not be available during a Shop Disney sale anyway.

It was exciting to see them available direct from VB & some are exclusive.

I missed out on some of the earliest patterns due to there limited availability in terms of where they were sold. Then later some of those earlier patterns popped up at Disney & even in Shop Disney.

I remember once we arrived at WDW and headed straight to Disney Springs (then Downtown Disney) only to find everything was sold out.

I have recently begun to backtrack and have purchased a few of these early patterns on Ebay. I was able to get Just Mousing Around, Perfect Petals and Bouncing Bouquet.

They are preowned & not pristine, but I got them for around $25 plus shipping, so I can’t complain.

I loved the earlier patterns best and it was fun when they were existing Vera patterns with Mickey & Minnie touches added.

Also prefer the old hipster style and quality. They’ve gotten somewhat better after veering toward that awful dark synthetic lining.

I got a few pieces of the Mickey’s Paisley Celebration during Black Friday & some during the last Once Upon a Year Sale.

I am always looking and keeping an eye out for good prices.
