You probably have checked, but often ebay and craigslist.org
have discount on brand new Vera Bradley products. Our local
Merle Norman cosmetic store has frequent discounts.
Sometimes local stores with have trunk sales or will offer the discontinued patterns at a discount, but I have never seen a code for them. If you live anywhere near Fort Wayne Indiana, their sale in May is worth the trip!

Are there only retired patterns at the Fort Wayne sale? What kind of a discount are we talking about? I am trying to find out if it will save anything by the time I fiqure in my gas from Ohio!

They have a little bit of everything there. They have seconds, but to be honest, I couldn't tell the difference, they had retired patterns, they have current things.
The prices are great. I didn't go last year, but when I was there a couple of years ago I got maggie style handbags for $10 each! I know many of the items are 1/2 of what you pay in the stores. Its at the fairgrounds and its really fun! Depending on how far in Ohio, if you are close to the border or in the northern area, it would really be worth the trip! It starts on Wednesday (I think) with a ticketed sale, but I usually wait until Friday because its easier for me to get off work. Many people will start posting on the first day what kind of bargains they have if you are unsure and want to wait and see before you make the trip.
