i really want to buy a vera bradley 311 bag cuz it seems like i could more eawily fit my liquids in it for a carry on only trip.
it does say its TSA approved but i'm a bit concerned that security will have a problem with it as it does seem like it is more than a 1 quart size.
i'm just wondering if anyone else has used the vera bradley 311 for liquids and had any problems getting through security or did the TSA not bother you?

What if you put liquids inside a disposable quart sized bag and put that into the VB bag? That way if they do have an issue you can just pull out the bag they want to see.

DH uses a different kind of non-disposable quart bag and doesn't have problems. But he always gets precheck, and so he's not pulling his bag out of his carryon anyway.

I've used it before and didn't have an issue.

Dh has used a travel bag, kinda gray colored, for years without issue.

I put my liquids in a gallon bag a lot of the time, as long as you aren't brining a ton of extra bottles I think you'll be fine. I fly every other week and I've never had a problem.

Is this the Vera bag listed as "cosmetic" bag on the disneystore site? Just ordered that and was wondering the same.

I would use the new bag and then put an empty quart size ziplock in your carryon just in case. If there is an issue just transfer your items into the quart size bag! It won't take up any extra room and could save you from having to discard your 3oz liquids.

i don't think so.
the 3-1-1 cosmetic is clear plastic and says its TSA approved for liquids.
the only cosmetic bags on the disney store website that i've seen are the small, medium, and large and they are not see through.
