Aug UY is hard to find Dabnabit. So I just lost out on a 100 point fully loaded BCV contract 145pp which I thought was a bit high but it went,Boohoo. It's on me.
There is a BWV 100 point no19 points 83 20 points and 100 going forward that the seller won't budge from 130.I think that's little high as well but I really want an EPCOT resort for when our Grand daughter gets older and walks and runs....What would you do?

How long has the boardwalk been listed?

In that case I would make a final offer, tell them that they can contact you if they change their mind as you are ready to buy if they change their mind.

I've been in touch with their broker a few times,,, they're not budging.

If they don't budge, than you will just need to move on, unfortunately, unless you give in to them. If they don't care if it sells, than no way you are getting anything from that seller, they are in a financial position to not care. Those kind of sellers exist.

Personally, if you think it's too high, than it's best to wait. You have to determine the value of time / frustration versus the price of just paying the price, owning, and being done with the buying process.

And I will say, I am a patient buyer, and when it comes time to sell, I am usually a very patient seller as well. I usually hold very fast to my asking price after that I set what I believe to be fair market price.

Great3

Would you buy at $120? Is $1000 really worth losing out over the long run?

I went with a BLT for $150 because it was perfect, even though I would have wanted it for $140.

To me, I’d go for it!

Sandi,
I have 1 foot in and 1 foot out. I'm stuck because and ONLY because I haven't seen many Aug UY BWV contracts.
P.S. 1000. pays 1 year MF.

True...it does, but over 10 years, this contract will have cost you an extra $100 a year. Will you kick yourself if you don’t see another one for a year? And prices are higher?

Yes..I am trying to get you to jump in with both! Lol

and 50. over 20 years

I think I found are patient, you will find what you are looking for at a better price. I made an offer on that 100 BWV Aug contract too. The only reason I’d pay that is if I have to have points RIGHT NOW, which I don’t.

If you really want a crescent lake resort, it's the right UY, and the right size of contract, I say go for it. Obviously you decide what's worth it to you. For me finding a resale with April UY at Boardwalk is difficult. Add to that I only want 30-50 points. Good luck with your decision. I already have Boardwalk and I love it. Value isn't always in dollars.

Does that mean I'd be competing with you for the next one I see?

It’s possible, but I’m not hot to trot right now. I’ve got Poly waiting on ROFR now, and it comes with double points. So I can wait and be patient and see where prices go. But Aug BWV is definitely on my radar screen for the future! Should I be really nice and tell you that there are TWO Aug BWV 150 point contracts on www.fidelityresales.com right now? Yes, yes I should.
