So we're going to disney for the first time this March and I called Months and Months ago and booked with the BDP rate at the value ASmo of $91/night..kk..well last week I got a e-mail with a code of $76/night s-th, so I called and tried to book that..well the woman on the phone did that and then she said that with that rate my rate went up and that I was only paying $55/night. I thought a little disney magic had been sprinkled my way...but then I got to thinking and throwing numbers together and realized she was wrong, so I called today and explained it to the cast member..well after about 45 mins to 1 hour on the phone with him ..I found out she was wrong I am paying 91/night AND there was no way for me to get the 76 since I had already deleted the e-mail ughhhhhhhhhhhh....Ok thanks for letting me vent..I'm still going to see mickey... pirate:
 
they can pull it up by your name or address (I think). I know when I was looking for a discounted post card or email, I called them to see if one was sent to me, and they were able to look it up. They had not sent anything at that time, but I got one later on. Give it a shot with a more experienced CM.

It's very frustrating isn't it? You would think that with the load of money people are dropping on a vacation to WDW that they could train all of their employees properly wouldn't you? It's crazy because you are constantly hearing about people who are dealing with CMs on the phone who don't seem to know what they are doing.
 
I am sorry to hear that. Just a thought, although I am not a computer whiz, but if you were to do a system restore to the time before you deleted the email would you be able to get it back?? Just a thought, and if anybody is a little more computer savvy than I, maybe they can throw in their two cents worth.
 

System restore doesn't restore email. It just restores the system to what it was on that date that you restore to. I do it to restore settings that managed to get changed or the system"burped" and I'm missing some setting or driver that was there before. Usually it's because we can't get something to work like accessing our isp. Once email is deleted, it's gone, and what's left on the hard drive is probably in fragments since your hard drive writes over deleted areas.
 
Do you at least vaguely recall whether this $76. rate was offered to large numbers of people such as from a given state, as opposed to just you and perhaps a few others personally?

Have you checked Mousesavers.com to see if that or any other discounts are available for the month and days you chose? They show practically all of the commonly available room discounts.
