Yes, I'm in the army, have been for six years, and I'm tired of George Bush blaming hard working folk like myself for his failures.

I've already checked out your homepage, I find it hard to believe that someone with such obvious anger issues could be in military intel..how would one get security clearance...

and I find it hard to believe that someone in intel, would actually publicly bash his commander-in-chief...

When my government may have lied to me about WMD I tend to take notice.
I supported Bush invading Iraq in the beginning. I still support the troops. That will never change.

I want to know why huge errors in information happened or were they out and out lies? Which is it?

If it was poor intelligence then perhaps the reason for invading "when" we did may have been in error.

What makes you think you're entitled to any information? If we hold off on doing anything that will ultimately protect ourselves (and the rest of the world ----hello, Spain) until a majority agrees (based on perfect information) we would be completely frozen and ripe for the terrorist picking. If you want good information, get into the security information business, otherwise leave it to the pros.

All the people claiming they've been lied to by the Bush Administration are unable to answer one simple question? Why would the Bush Administration purposely put people (our blessed armed forces), money and worldwide opinion of us in peril? I'll help you out... THEY WOULDN'T.

Get over your pampered, over entitlled self

There ARE NO WMD's.........Why is that so hard for you to comprehend ? The president screwed up, and isn't man enough to own up to it for fear of political ramifications. It's not all that complicated.

If Bush would stand up like a man and admit he made an error, I honestly believe it would win him the election. And those of you who defend him come hell or high water are only making it harder for him to admit he has flaws. Why is it so difficult to admit one is wrong on an issue. Must one always be right to be a leader?

Another point, Handymom. Clinton believed that the WMD's existed too but you will often find that the same people who feel that President Bush lied to them have nothing to say about Clinton. How partisan can they get?

Those seem to be the right words to describe Bush. I'm not sure there has ever been someone as incompetent as him to occupy the white house. I'm not exactly a fan of Ted Kennedy, personally I don't care for the man, but right now the countries number one priorty should be getting G.W. out of office so we can begin recovering from the huge mess the idiot has created .

does the name Bill Clinton ring a bell...

Funny, I don't remember Clinton preaching about what a THREAT iraq was to us, then launching a unilateral invasion of the country while dodging a vote in the UN that he knew he would lose.

Could you please point me to the time when that happened ? I seem to have missed it.

BTW...you might want to look up the word "hypocrisy" in a dictionary....I think you'd be surprised at what you'd find...

Hahahaha...well let's just bash my credentials then. Not only am I in military intel, I'm damn good at it. As far as security clearances, trust me, I've seen them given to people with a lot more issues than me.

Granted, being a democratic in the military is an upward battle. I still remember when I was a PFC, and snuck up and put a "friends don't let friends vote Republican" bumper sticker on my Platoon Sergeant's back. Good fun.

Anyways, let's worry less about my stellar career and more about the issue at hand, which is George Bush being a genocidal maniac and Ted Kennedy having the balls to say so.

Great fun. :wave2:

At least we know that GWB is actually working in the oval office instead of using it as an upscale bordello. The democrats are their own worst enemies. I look forward to the next foot-in-mouth episode from Senator Kerry

Now you know Bush supports DO NOT want to open the whole foot in mouth debate.

Thank you "wvrevy" and "The Mystery Machine" for TRYING to add some truthful debate into this subject.

I have to warn you, there was another thread awhile back with the same people arguing against you and it went nowhere so fast my head was spinning. These people are dyed in the wool Republicans who can see nothing but what this administration wants them to see.

No matter how clearly you state facts (real facts... not "wish it were true" or "this is what *Mr* President wants you to believe "facts") nothing will change their minds. Not even while we watch our soldiers killed for a government that is so much worse off for what we have done.. who does not want us there, who will probably now be in cival war for the rest of thieir lives and yes it will turn into Vietnam... lives lost for a lost cause.

People are still trying to say that there are things we haven't found, weapons hiding somewhere even though gov't officals admit they were wrong.

I asked this yesterday and ask it again today... how many more people have to die?

Let them have their country.. every time we fix something, they blow it up. Or worse yet.. they take people kill them and burn them and drag their bodies through the streets and hang them from a bridge. :( :( :(

Lol...I've changed my vote...Any time a Bush supporter accuses someone ELSE of always sticking their foot in their mouth, that has got to take the cake for funniest post.

Good god, there are whole sites dedicated to "Bushisms"...Do you really want to get into this argument ? :hyper:

A few of my favorites:

"We ought to make the pie higher."—South Carolina Republican Debate, Feb. 15, 2000

"Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?"-Florence, S.C., Jan. 11, 2000

"It's clearly a budget. It's got a lot of numbers in it."--Reuters, May 5, 2000

"I understand small business growth. I was one."-New York Daily News, Feb. 19, 2000

"It's important for us to explain to our nation that life is important. It's not only life of babies, but it's life of children living in, you know, the dark dungeons of the Internet."—Arlington Heights, Ill., Oct. 24, 2000

"They misunderestimated me."—Bentonville, Ark., Nov. 6, 2000

Then you must be aware that referring to your Commander in Chief as a genocidal maniac is against the Uniform Code of Military Conduct and you could be court marshalled. If you can't support the commander, you can't support the mission. Maybe you should resign.

There is a big difference between mispronunciation and word missuse (oral grammatical errors) and cussing out your Secret Service detail (how spoiled and ungrateful) and calling people liars.

I'd easily make the choice for someone who has problems with public speaking over someone who doesn't have any class or integrity. Hey Ketchup lady, get that boy some Charm School lessons will 'ya.

Thank you very and The Mystery Machine fopr TRYING to add some truthful debate into this subject.

Melora, I think you missed this one completely. I definantly see the bias for Bush, and in your post and ESPECIALLY wvrevy's posts, I see the Democratic bias. Personally, I know I'm biased towards Republicans because I agree with them more times than not and am therefore more trusting of them. However, the bias *SHINES* through on the other side, too.

wvrevy's attacks have included name-calling and childish, rude remarks (no personal offense intended, wv, JMO). That's fine for a message board, but I don't think we can honestly call that 'truthful debate'.

not bashing your credentials, just pointing out the obvious, if someone were to show your web page to the right people, ..the anger issues....the running for president........, and a few other items.....if the push were made,,, your clearance would be terminated...

you might want to be a little more careful....

Sure does. While lacking in moral judgement, Clinton was far more intelligent and qualified for the job of president of the United States than that supreme court appointed fool we have now. I know the closed minded far right wackos will never see any good in him and a republican will never do wrong in thier eyes no matter how stupid that person may be.

So, it's ok for the administration to run down "old Europe", since they're just our allies and all, but you won't vote for someone that would *gasp* reprimand his security detail ?

Lol....Honestly...The republican mentality never ceases to amaze me...

Oh, by the way....It doesn't bother you that the man in charge of the most powerful nuclear armada in the history of the science can't even say the friggin' word ?!?!? If he can't even get it through his thick skull that it is NEW-CLEAR, not NEW-CU-LER, then how much confidence do you have that he really grasps the awesome power inherent in such systems ?

Oh, but it's "just" a mispronounciation, right ?

And calling someone "kethup lady" is just the EPITOME of class, right ?

But what if the commander in chief IS a genocidal maniac? Last time I checked, blindly following orders to kill can make you an accessory to murder a'la Nuremberg Trials.

I respect Vamp's right to his opinion - regardless of his vocation. This is, after all, America. Or at least it was. :(
