Need to let all this out.

Where do I begin? I don't know. Guess I'll make a list.

1) I'm sick and tired of having to be perfect all the time (parents).

2) I'm always in my friend's shadows (more athletic/prettier/smarter/popular/outgoing/talented/etc than me).

3) Chemistry. It's the hardest class I've EVER taken. I can't handle much more of it. The work is challenging enough, but the teacher isn't very good either. AND I'm still so far behind in it. Don't think I can catch up at this rate without recieving a crappy grade in place of my "I", and ending up not being able to get into honors Physics next year, which I want to do.

4) One of my best friend's grandmothers just suddenly passed away (she wasn't sick or anything). AND her uncle only has days left to live (dying of a brain tumor). :sad2:

5) My closest guy friend is seriously depressed, and nothing is helping him, even professional help. Even his friends. Almost killed himself last Wednesday night. It's getting serious, I've done everything I can do to help, but nothing is working. :sad1:

6) I just can't handle it any more. I had a mental breakdown today, right in the middle of class. It was an okay day, I had just gotten back from a good lunch, and then BAM! Breakdown. A pretty bad one, too.

7) My back is still giving me hell. Sometimes, the pain gets bad in class, and I can't do a thing about it (painkillers do nothing).

Mmkay, I've vented. You don't need to respond. Thanks.

 that sounds really hard. if you ever need to talk, feel free to pm me. i really hope things start getting better for you soon.

Awww
Manders

:(

*hugs until eyes pop out*

I'm sorry you've had a rough time lately.

*huggies some more*

if you can't do chem 1, h physics is not the place for you. its basically a compound on the math that makes chemistry hard.

I'm sorry about all of this, I guess the best advice I have is to stay strong. You will pull through, do it for your friend.
As far as the chemistry work goes, sometimes you just have to do it. You will feel a lot better once you start. Do a little at a time and don't think of what's ahead. Just do it. Honors physics will most likely be brutal. Think of doing all of this chemistry work as practice for it.

On the chem. thing, I really do not suggest doing honors physics. It's double as hard with all the more math. Maybe try regular physics or a different science if that's possible. :)

I'm really sorry to hear this
This year has seriously not been anyones year
I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers

I realize physics will be difficult. I didn't say it would be easy.

It's not so much that the actual work in chemistry is hard, it's that the teacher cannot teach. Thank goodness that we have a student teacher starting week after next. The teacher (real teacher) writes her labs in a way that no one can understand them (and I mean no one).

For example, a lab we had this week. We were supposed to answer 3 pre-lab questions, then have 20 minutes to do the actual lab. The first two questions took no time at all, but the third one took the entire class itself to do (it was a long process). She got mad at our class for not finishing it (no one in the class did). Mad at the class for not doing the pre-lab on time, when we had a long work process, which was not our fault.

Then, she told me I did the entire ditto wrong. Uhm, how could I have, when I followed the instructions step-by-step, and double-checked my answers? Then, she gives it back and says "oh, my mistake. You did all of it right." WTH. So you stress me out, telling me I have to re-do the entire pre-lab I just spent an HOUR doing, and then you say it was fine? Geesh.

The actual work was easy, just a long and tedious process.

I can handle physics, and I have a friend who's in it now, so he can always help me if I need it. I really can handle it. (Trig might be an issue, but I'm taking regular Trig, not honors).
