Vent: Ice cream

The rare times we get ice cream we also get pints. I love Haagen Dasz personally.

Did you know that they claim that there are four servings in one of those pints? Yeah right!

That's because a serving is only 1/2 a cup you know.

I end up buying everyone the flavor that they want. Plus when dsis comes over I have to get one container of vegan stuff.

I think the pp who said that you should get yourself a pint of whatever you want has the right idea. Do it for yourself at least once in a while.

Oh, I do, never fear I will get the flavour I want every now and then if I'm grocery shopping alone. I just don't get how they can see all those scrummy flavours and not want to try them

But seriously, VANILLA ??? If I wasn't there at the time, I would seriously question if DS was really mine Asking me what my favourite flavour is, is like asking me my favourite colour - I don't have one, I like them all for different reasons

I mean I like vanilla, I just have to add stuff to it to make it more interesting. Berries are my favourite.

Here a 1.5 quart Breyer's container is usually less than $4. Often more like $2.99.

I prefer Blue Bell, and when it's on sale I get it for $3.99. And that still includes an entire half gallon.

It sounds like you pay a lot more in Canada for ice cream than we do in Texas. I typically have 3 or 4 containers of it in our freezer, and it's just me and my husband in the house.

Blue Bell is the best, isn't it? It's expensive, but we love it so I look for the sales.

I'm totally addicted to Tin Roof Sundae and can never find it in my area. DH will eat pretty much any flavor and so will DD. As long as it's not coffee flavored I'll probably be ok with it. Rainbow sherbet is the best though (aside from Tin Roof Sundae), although the flavors in the 'rainbow' here are different from the 'rainbow' I grew up with.

I like the previous suggestion of taking turns, that way everyone gets what they like eventually.
