Mary Anne -- well that explains it. You MUST be a nice person because it seems like all the "good" ones are out now. 
Could you pm me the info on the companies hiring in NYC? DH is desparate and maybe there's something he can fit himself into.
Maybe I should have titled this I HATE INCOMPETENT people. It seems to me (more and More) that those in the workforce are the dregs and those who are out of it are the creme of the crop (present company excluded of course!
I do try to do a good job!). Since DH is out of work, he's been trying to run ads in the local papers offering his services in computer repair. The first time he tried to run the ad the proof came back saying "Professional and Financial Assistance" instead of "Professional and FRIENDLY Assistance." Decided to run the ad again, only in one local paper for several weeks instead of several papers. He can't get the ad in. The guy didn't send the paper work, DH had to call him several times to get him to fax it to him. Now it's been sent in and he hasn't heard anything back despite leaving several messages. Doesn't this guy know that by selling ads he's making the paper (and himself) money? URG!!!
