vent - DH has decided not to go and I'm BLUE

Well, (((HUGS))) I have been there MANY times. My parents are DVC owners so they want to go often. Since my relationship with dh, I have been about 10 times, myydd 9 times, and this trip will be his 3rd.
This upcoming trip....He even ended up backing out of a week, so we will be there for 2 weeks and he will be there only 1.

BUT, I have to appreciate that he lets me go. He just doesn't feel about Disney the way I feel about it.

First, I understand you being nervous, but you are gonna be fine! I think the idea of "assigning" each adult one child is a good idea! So one adult is "in charge" so to speak, of one child.

Again, not to be nosy, but would you have had seperate hotel rooms or other accomodations at Disney? I can see a spouse maybe not wanting to go with in-laws, even ones that he likes, if you are all staying together, but with seperate accomodations, you would still have time to yourselves no? Or maybe mom and dad could watch the kid's for awhile while you and DH spend some alone time together? Or how about offering him a day to himself to go golfing, or something else he enjoys...maybe the Richard Petty driving experience? Or even just a day to lay around the pool while you guys go to the parks?

Has your DH ever been to Disney with your kids? Sounds like he is really going to be missing out, especially if it's their first trip there.

thanks for all the good advice. yes, i've lined up a teen helper! thanks for the suggestion. (We do have seperate accomodations by the way.)

DH has a lot to catch up on at work and the strain has become too much. SO I GUESS in a way he's not in "his right mind" as one of you posted.

We'll miss him a lot, but pumped about a delightful trip!!!!!
