.....when college football will be over. Now I like watching my team, but do we really have to watch every Bowl game :sad2: God love him, but DH keeps quoting all this football info to me (I don't really care sweetheart) I just smile and say "oh really, wow, that is interesting" Just a few more days! :yay:

I like football but love basketball more. I am ready for NBA basketball and college basketball 24/7 .

I know exacly how you feel. :lovestruc At least last night I got to see Darius Rucker sing the national anthem, then I went to bed. The one advance is dh stays up late so I have plenty of time to get to sleep before he comes to bed and starts snoring.

My brothers are forever spouting football (NFL) news, figures and rumors at me. It's the one thing they know and obsess over.

Long ago my mom told me I needed to learn to like football to catch a man. I did learn to love it but the only ones I "caught" were my dad and brothers. :rotfl:

Amen! I am very tired of college football this season. We just moved over the summer from a home with a huge basement where we kept the big TV (the man cave where all football watching happened) so now DH has to watch TV in the den which is just a few feet away from the living room and office where the rest of the family is trying to exist. It's hard to get much done or watch anything else over him yelling at the television (especially tonight with LSU playing). :rolleyes1

I swear that since we got this big screen TV last year, all DH wants to watch is football and DVR tapings of Gunsmoke. I'm ready to scream! :crazy2:

I'll be glad, too. I try to share his interests so I'll ask questions during the game and he says "Baby, I'm trying to watch!" When golf is on I know better not to utter a peep, but the fanaticism is annoying!

We just came back from WDW where we hopefully conceived a baby (I'll know next week) and when I tell my friends the news, I know they're going to say that was the only place to we could have conceived because he's always watching sports at home! lol

Good luck!

Don't worry-college football goes straight to the NFL Playoffs, then into College Basketball/March Madness.

After that it's dry season until August.

I have no NBA interest anymore after the prima donna LeBron fiasco.

It used to be that we just watched teams that we had an interest in (state universities and one or two NFL teams). Now it seems like we watch everything and everybody. :headache:

I guess that's what big screen televisions do to husbands...:rotfl2:

I always just did something else whenever DH got wrapped up in a game. This too shall pass as they say.

OP...right there with you. Like another said, after this is NFL playoffs, college basketball etc etc. My dh likes to give out blow by blow commentary of where this guy went to college, that guys stats etc. I always shake my head and say "Wow, interesting"...NOT.

A few weeks ago, at work, some of the guys were talking football, I happen to hear something and went into a 10 minute conversation re: football, players etc. They were gawking at me like I grew a 3rd head. I said "am I wrong?" and the one guy said "No, but no woman knows that much about football"..:confused3 I realized that somewhere in my brain I absorbed a bunch of useless information that has replaced my phone number, what appts I might have etc.

I usually don't make any plans with dh till sometime in June/July, After Aug, welp its ESPN everyday and I am 100% not interested.
