This site is temporarily too busy to process your request. Please try again later.

It's what I see every day when I try to log on to the dvcmember website. Could DVC please, please, please join the current century? Other companies have been know to run a reasonably reliable, functional website.

AARRRRGGHHHHH!!!!

Deep breath! Okay, I feel better now. Thanks for letting me vent.

Next time this happens to you try this: wait about 10 seconds and refresh your browser screen. If you get the message again wait another 10-15 seconds and refresh again. It may take 5 tries but I almost always get in using this approach.

I just logged on...no problem. On the home page after logging in in the My Membership section it does say:

We are currently
unable to access
your Annual Dues information
while we perform
scheduled system activities.

But then I went up to the tab labelled "My Membership" and clicked on "Vacation Points". Got right in and was able to confirm vacation details, etc.

I know that people have been complaining for months about the site, but for whatever reason I usually am able to get the information I'm looking for. Just lucky I guess. :confused3

This is what we do also and it seems to work for us too.

I use Firefox to get in and never have a problem but with IE7 it's so hit or miss it's not even funny.

I know they are always working on their different sights but with Daily updates to others I think the Parks and DVC get put on the backburners.

I have had it happen the last two evenings. Disney has always had problems with their sites.:surfweb:

Yes ma'am, I have been having this same problem for almost 3 weeks now about 80% of the time? I think I did a post, but no one else was having trouble....there is something wrong with their site...its a bummer.

E...

I have to agree with OP here. While we've pretty much figured out ways around the limited capabilities of DVC's website, we shouldn't have to do it on a consistent basis. Once in awhile is fine, but not as often as it happens. Why even bother to have a site when it is rare that you can access all of its functions?

I often get the same message, but almost always can log in by closing my browser and trying again. I guess it's not just me...

I'm using IE 7.0 and have never had that happen (yet :scared1: ).

I'm also able to click on vacation details and see my vacation details.....
